My name is Junren Chen (陈俊任). I obtained my master's degree in Electronic and Information Engineering from Tsinghua University, China, in 2020. After that, I joined Prof. Giacomo Indiveri's group at INI to pursue my PhD in Neuromorphic Engineering (ZNZ neuroscience PhD program).
During my master's years, I focused on multibit programming methods of Resistive Random Access Memory (RRAM) devices for in-memory computing systems. Currently, my research involves integrating emerging memory technologies (particularly memristors) with neuromorphic architectures for computing and intra chip routing (memristor crossbar routers). I am also interested in designing synapse circuits and learning circuits in neuromorphic chips.
