I received my BSc and MSc in Physics at ETH Zurich where I devoted most of my elective courses to neuroscience, electronics and programming techniques.
During this time I completed several projects as part of the groups of Professors Indiveri and Delbruck, including:
- Implementation of an exponential integrate and fire neuron using discrete electronic components,
- Phase space analysis of an adaptive exponential integrate and fire neuron using principles of nonlinear dynamical systems theory to study bifurcations,
- Creating a dataset and benchmarking algorithms for optical flow from neuromorphic dynamic vision sensor (DVS).
As a PhD student at the Institute of Neuroinformatics I contribute to the development of deep learning theory as part of the Neuromorphic Processor Project.
