Postdoc positions in real-time edge audio ML perception system

We have two open postdoc positions in the Sensors Group for[nbsp]a new industry-sponsored project on designing real-time edge audio perception algorithms and mapping to a hardware system. Positions are guaranteed for 1 year with possible extension for a 2nd year. Starting date to be discussed.

Requirements

The candidate in the first position should have strong knowledge of signal processing and deep networks; and is comfortable with hardware and deep learning tools. They should have performed their thesis work or on an extended project on a deep learning topic preferably on audio.

The candidate in the second position should have a strong background in hardware accelerator design, either ASIC or on FPGA and completed an extended project on this topic. They should have systems knowledge and performed analog or digital ASIC design in a project.

Salary is according to the guidelines of the Swiss National Science Foundation. Applicants should have a doctoral degree in an engineering /computer science-related discipline.
