After receiving his Honorary Degree from the University of Cape Town, Prof. R. Douglas addressed
graduating students during the University's graduation ceremony. The degree was handed to him by chancellor
Graca Machel, an international advocate for women's and children's rights and former wife of Nelson Mandela.
