Dynamic and Color Active-Pixel Vision Sensor
We build a neural inspired 2 streams vision sensor, the dynamic and color active-pixel vision sensor (CDAVIS). The CDAVIS combines the neuromorphic dynamic vision technology (Lichtsteiner et al, 2007, Brandli er al, 2014) with the state of the art CMOS active-pixel sensor (APS) technology (Fossum et al, 1993). The CDAVIS produces 2 concurrent streams of output: high resolution synchronous color frames to support vision for recognition; and sparse asynchronous monochromatic events to support vision for motion.
This project is mainly supported by Swiss NCCR Robotics and EU projects SeeBetter (FP7-ICT-270324).
