Human intracranial High Frequency Oscillations (HFOs) detected by automatic time-frequency analysis

I have done my Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science and the Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics. I am currently enrolled as a PhD student at ETH and working at Klinik für Neurochirurgie, UniversitätsSpital Zürich. In my project I aim to establish an automatic algorithm capable of detecting high frequency oscillations (HFOs). HFOs serve as a biomarker of epileptogenicity and ensure efficacy of neurosurgical resection of the seizure onset zone. A detector with high sensitivity and specificity may be of diagnostic value.
