Neuron Morphology Reconstruction from Electron Microscope Images

Electron microscope image data is the only way to image synaptic connections. Currently these images must be interpreted by expert neuroanatomists, taking a large amount of time for small reconstructions, while large reconstructions are prohibitive. If this repetitive process could be automated, much more data could be collected. The goal of this process is to improve the automated methods as much as possible.
