My name is Junren Julian Chen (陈俊任). I received my bachelor's degree in Engineering (Microelectronics) at Harbin Institute of Technology, China, in 2017, and obtained my master's degree in Integrated Circuit Engineering (mentored by Prof. Huaqiang Wu) at Tsinghua University, China, in 2020. After that, I joined INI in Prof. Giacomo Indiveri's group for pursuing my PhD in Neuromorphic Engineering.
I worked on multibit programming methods of Resistive Random Access Memory (ReRAM) devices for in-memory computing systems during my master's years. Currently I am trying to combine emerging memory technologies, specifically memristors, with neuromorphic architectures. I am also interested in designing synapse circuits, learning circuits in neuromorphic chips.

Project available for master students: "Spiking Neural Networks (SNN) on Memristor Crossbar-based Neuromorphic Hardware", thesis or semester project. I also have other ideas for either hardware or algorithms. Feel free to contact me if you would like to do a project with me.
