I obtained a BSc in Computer Science and Neuroscience from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2020. I then pursued a MSc in Machine Learning at University College London, finishing in 2021. I am particularly interested in studying mathematical theories of consciousness and complex cognition using information theory, bayesian statistics, and machine learning, including but not limited to integrated information theory, predictive coding, and active inference. I would additionally like to leverage these theories for creating biologically-plausible machine learning models.
