I'm a PhD student at the institute of Neuroinformatics at the university of Zurich and ETH Zurich, supervised by Prof. Valerio Mante. I'm primarily interested in basic methods research in the intersection between computational neuroscience and machine learning. Usually that means that I'm trying to find how to use artificial networks to generate hypotheses about the brain. Send me a message if you would like to collaborate.
Before coming to Zurich, I completed an Msc. in AI at the University of Edinburgh, where I worked on machine learning and grid cells with Prof. Matt Nolan and Dr. Michael Herrmann. Before that I worked on machine learning for climate issues in Amsterdam. I completed my Bsc. in AI at Utrecht University.
