In 2011, I started studying computer science at Leibniz University Hannover. After receiving my Bachelor's degree, I appended a Master concentrating in Human-Computer-Interaction, Systems-Engineering and Theoretical Computer Science. I got excited about AI during an exchange semester at Purdue University. My Master thesis has been located on the edge between Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision utilizing Deep Learning meths. Conventional AI methods only allow a top-down analysis of learning. To better assess how biological learning might be implemented, I moved to the Grewe-lab at ETH, where I started my PhD in March 2017.
