My primary research interest is in understanding learning.
On one side, I'm studying the learning processes in artificial neural networks, specifically recurrent neural networks, to improve their applicability in neuroscience as well as brain-inspired technologies such as neuromorphic hardware.
On the other side, I'm interested in studying learning in biological neural networks. To this end, I am currently involved in developing an in-cage training system for non-human primates.
