After I finishing the Abitur in Germany, I studied Biomimetics at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences in Bocholt. For a practical phase I joined the Sensors group at the Institute of Neuroinformatics in 2014. I was working on image stitching with spike-based neuromorphic sensors on a 6DOF robotic head, combining the information from the DVS128 camera and the AEREAR2 cochlea sensor. With this setup we were able to determine the position of a speaking person and direct the gaze of the robotic head onto it. I am interested in robotics, sensor technology and machine learning. I am looking forward to use different event-based neuromorphic sensors together with robotic platforms.
