I did my undergraduation in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) in India with a focus on signal processing and control theory. I followed that up with an M.Sc. in Neural Systems and Computation from ETH Zurich & University of Zurich in 2015.

I am interested in understanding how neural and cognitive computations arise from the interactions of large, distributed neural populations. To do so, I develop novel statistical and machine learning tools to infer the structure and dynamics of large-scale neural datasets collected during decision-making and movement.
