I did my B.Sc. degree from Koç University Istanbul in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 2019. Later, I have obtained my M.Sc. degree in 2021 in Neural Systems and Computation program at INI jointly from University Zürich and ETH Zürich. Since May 2021, I am pursuing my PhD in Neurotechnology Group under the supervision of Prof. Mehmet Fatih Yanik.
My main research interest is enhancing the next generation closed-loop brain machine interfaces. My main aim is improving the process of electrophysiology recordings and discovering ways of delivering engineered electrical micro stimulations to the desired neural populations. Currently, I am working on Magnetic Resonance Imaging compatible micro scale neural probes to image and localize them in vivo single channel-wise.
