ZNZ interview with new INI SNSF Professor Melika Payvand
Melika Payvand was awarded a 2022 SNSF Starting Grant and she started working on her project “UNITE: Brain-inspired device-circuits-algorithm co-design for resource-constrained hardware on the edge” at INI in February. The project aims to build a few-shot on-device learning system by combining the sparsity and locality principles of the brain, with the advances in memory technology and NeuroAI algorithms.
