INI alumnus receives NAS Troland award

Since 1886, the National Academy of Sciences (USA) has honored outstanding achievement in the physical, biological, and social sciences through its awards program. In particular, two Troland Research Awards of $50,000 are given annually to recognize unusual achievement by young investigators and to further empirical research within the broad spectrum of experimental psychology. Ueli Rutishauser, an INI alumnus, has received one of the Troland awards in 2014. Ueli Rutishauser, now assistant professor of neurosurgery, department of neurosurgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, has received the award for his innovative experimental and computational studies to understand human perception and memory.
